Welcome to the New Laveen Soccer

Hello everyone and welcome to the new Laveen Soccer League. To start, here is a little information that you will probably want to know (this same information can be found on the flier). If you still have questions, feel free to contact us at laveensoccer@gmail.com

Who?
The league is for all children between the ages of 4 and 10. The kids will be divided into three age groups: 4-5, 6-7, and 8-10. We will also need adult volunteers for coaching and officiating.

When?
Registration is beginning now and will continue until January 1st 2009. The season will begin on January 10th with the first game being held on January 17th. The season will run through February 21st (6 weeks of games). Games will be on Saturday mornings with the first game beginning at 8:30. Each game will last approximately one hour. Practices will be once per week and will be coordinated through the coaches for their time.

Where?
Games will be held at the soccer park in Arlington Estates at South Mountain. It is located between Park Street and Carter Road and between 42nd Drive and 41st Lane. From Baseline Road go north on 43rd Avenue and take your first right on Fremont Road. Head east for a few hundred feet and you’ll run right into it. Practices can be held at the same location but will be up to the coaches and parents to decide the exact location.

How Much?
$35.00 nonrefundable is due at registration. This will include the kids shirts, socks, trophies, and a pizza party for the kids and their families at the end of the season. Each child will need to supply his or her own shin guards and shorts (Shin Guards are required!). Checks can be made payable to Steve Faller or Jeff Hale.
